May 31 - It's all in my head

It's all in my head - and I am being literal! I have had the worst headache all day and it is not getting better. I tried Extra Strength Tylenol, that didn't work. I tried eating, water, and a nap. Nothing worked. Now as I sit here finishing up my work for month end my ears are really quite painful. I feel a pressure just at that little flap in the ears. It feels a bit like when you are on a plane just before your ears pop and you get that pressure, except it's more like when I flew with a cold and it is actually painful.....If anyone can offer assistance or home rememdies for headaches (specifically ones that are likely from low frequency noise), I would love to hear from you. Thanks... Nik

Just curious if any of your neighbors are having the same issues. You may be able to either support or eliminate some hypotheses depending on whether someone who lives close to you is having similar issues. I suspect there may be other homes not very far from your home.

I'm sorry to hear about your headache. It has to be hard being in a situation that you feel you have no control over. The Green Energy Act (the new provincial energy policy) is hedging its bets on a massive wind infrastructure. They probably shouldn't be doing anything till we have solid evidence about the physical effects of Wind turbines. A lot of people are in the same position as you and are really questioning the wind industry. You should go and check out www.pickcandu.ca you can go and sign the petition to get the GEA repealed.

In researching stray voltage last winter for a meeting in our municipality I found on the Hydro One site that women and children are more sensitive. On pg8 of Technical requirements for Generators Connecting to Hydro One's distribution System and I quote "If there are negative impacts once the generation facility is in service, it will be required to disconnect and resolve the problem." Unfortunately wind farms don't think the rules apply to them.Don't back down, keep their feet to the fire.
The climate and energy Project on Wind and Human Health,a pro wind site from Kansas, says "Generally, the impact of low-frequency vibrations on human health is not well understood, just because the problem is hard to understand does not mean it does not exist."
Our biggest problem is that the wind industry is tightly connected to the Liberal Party, and therefore we are just ignored or told we just have "turbine envy"
