We have one, and we already do that - actually a fair amount in the warmer months....Nikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07394085868336961534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6885776559862322733.post-80891252553941150072012-04-02T20:54:01.915-04:002012-04-02T20:54:01.915-04:00Nikki,
This is not good news, you and your family ...Nikki,
This is not good news, you and your family should rent a trailer to spend the windy nights (I know I know). However some of the damage to your bodies may be permanent and you must consider what that might be worth.

You are mainly being impacted by the low frequencies being given off by the vibrating hollow towers (didgeridoo effect) anchored strongly to the ground. These long powerful complex waves travel through the air up to about 1.6km out and through the ground past 10km. out. The waves in the earth demonstrate a very complex pattern and the waves in the air are basically Ultra Low Freq. sound waves below the threshold of human hearing. As most junior physicists know, the lower the frequency the more power involved if the amplitude is there. The kick drum at a rock concert vibrates your chest and the cymbals do not. Both could be the same amplitude. Sound decays rapidly and moves much more slowly in air compared to the same energy travelling in a more dense medium (water or in this case rock). So you have the ultra low frequency sound waves travelling through the ground, mostly unabated, and exciting the foundation of your home. The air born waves travel more slowly and thus likely out of phase with the ground waves - these could add constructively and really vibrate your walls. If you are really unfortunate the slight differences between the towers can set up a 'beat' frequency which could be really low in frequency. Think tuning a guitar string to string method.

In any event you need an instrument package containing a 3-axis (X Y Z) accelerometer and a digitizer with software (seismic vibration analysis). Perhaps an engineering firm has a suitable one for monitoring blasting and other heavy industry activities. Once you get a vibration report logged over time, then you can take this data to your regulatory body and have them stop the turbines until the towers are sufficiently damped.
The remediation lies in two areas - your home and the towers which support the nacelle/blade assembly. In Scotland towers were damped to reduce infrasound by -6db. This is a fair amount. Otherwise you must try to float your house foundation effectively decoupling it from the earth.
Your body parts each have a resonate frequency. Like a crystal glass shattering when the opera singer finds the note which matches the resonate frequency of the glass... well, you get my point. Human eyeballs resonate at 18HZ. Vibration causes callousing. Friction causes blisters, vibration causes callousing - internally or external. So good luck!gary boateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01231158589674736753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6885776559862322733.post-77618226216336933572012-02-04T18:19:10.115-05:002012-02-04T18:19:10.115-05:00I was recently speaking with my local MPP office, ...I was recently speaking with my local MPP office, Rick Nicholls. It was indicated to me that the PC Party Ontario wishes to increase the amount of discussion concerning wind turbines in the soon upcoming legislature. Please get in contact with your local MPP office. Sent them your complaints, concerns, etc. If you have a group in your area let them know. They are most interested collecting a large number of health related complaints. Write a short letter outlining your problems and send it to them. Also send a copy to Tim Hudak’s office.

How to find your MPP: http://www.ontla.on.ca/web/members/members_current.do?locale=en&channel_id={923146e7-4d81-42a8-99f0-e61f5ab50387}&lang=en

If people in the Port Alma area wish to contact me to coordinate
David Libby
519 397 9100Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
